I had been debating with myself most of last night on whether or not to go to the Modern Warfare 3 launch event at my local GameStop. I had finally made the decision to return home and make a decision from there as I didn’t have the books I needed with me to work on my homework. Long story short I had a car accident on my way home and was unable to attend the launch event.
The good news is, my car looks messed up, actually, wait that’s bad news. All joking aside there were some good things to come out of this. For one it forced me to go home and finish my homework and, since my dad decided he was thirst. I got to try out the other Modern Warfare Themed Mountain Dew Game Fuel.
Mountain Dew has been making Game Fuel since 2007 when it first released the variant flavor to match Mountain Dew’s growing reputation as “Game Fuel.” Every time GameFuel has come back to shelves it has been as a promotion for highly anticipated or popular games.
The original Game Fuel served as a promotional tool for the already highly anticipated Halo 3 and then returned in both old and new flavors to promote the MMORPG World of Warcraft.
Luckily, the original Halo 3 Citrus Game Fuel was brought back, even if it was representitive of the Horde. Though I was an Alliance World of Warcraft player at the time, I still refused to touch the blue Game Fuel, the orange stuff was still too great to resist.
And now it’s back.
With the approaching, well, now already past, launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Mountain Dew Released another Game Fuel Flavor in addition to the traditional citrus. It’s alright; it’s some kind of tropical stuff and it doesn’t taste bad but it’s not necessarily the cat’s meow either. What I’m most excited about is the return of the original, which I still have sitting in my fridge from last night. I’m so glad that they reused the formula for the citrus. It continues to blow my mind.
