So obviously it has been quite a while since my last post. Generally this is an indicator that I have been very busy doing what (semi-)successful undergraduate Engineering students do; namely going to every class despite being sick, studying for hours and actually learn things…. a LOT of things — like binary and hexidecimal, circuit analysis, second level Physics and Multivariable Calculus.
So, since my last post I have learned a great many things on my way to mastering the art of technomancy and I have also taken some time to work on the Skyrim Mod, which is slowly shaping up. As of now the bugs list is extensive, while our objectives list is slowly shrinking. I am hopeful that by the end of the semester the whole thing will be ready for testing. Anyway on to some gaming news. I haven’t done much on this lately so there’s a massive flood incoming.
Grand Theft Auto V
If you already have Grand Theft Auto V, I officially envy you. A game that set a record for video game opening night purchases and has also received great reviews (and a lots of hours from lots of people.)
Steam OS
Probably won’t use it personally, but it’s about time that we had Steam in the living room.
Hiroshi Yamauchi, the visionary former President of Nintendo dies at age 85
He will be missed. Click here for more info.
Joseph Staten Leaves Bungie
I am sad to see him go, but the decision came as no surprise to me. Staten has been with Bungie for quite a while now and Destiny was nearly complete. More here.
Guild Wars 2
Tequatl the Sunless and next level of Super Adventure Box. Dedicated Looking for group system coming soon. Guild Wars 2 Website
League of Legends
New viewing party system announced. League of Legends Website
Much much more happened in the gaming world over the past several weeks of course, but these are the things that stuck out most to me. Stay tuned to the Twitter and follow me @DesertEagle_PWN to see the latest on tech, games, geekery.
Until next time… (time to start working on the Skyrim Mod again)
